World Tourism Day is set to fall on 27 September 2022, providing individuals with an excuse to tour the globe. Here in Britain, we’re often so keen to experience other cultures that we seemingly forget about the beauty of our own nation. Instead of jetting off to Paris or Rome, why not venture a little closer to home? Better yet, you could purchase your own holiday home on an Allens Caravans holiday park, allowing you to visit your favourite UK location all year round! From holiday homes in Wales by the sea to static caravan parks in Worcestershire, Allens has got you covered.

Visit Wales
When it comes to British tourism, Wales is one of the most popular holiday spots. Here at Allens, we have not one, but two holiday parks in Wales!
The first is Sunbeach, which can be found in Llwyngwril; home to one of the most stunningly peaceful pebble beaches in the UK. Llwyngwril Beach is a must-visit for anyone in the area, from singles to couples, to families.
Secondly is Aber Bay, which is located in Clarach. Nearby is Aberystwyth Castle, which is a timber castle that has since been reinforced with stone. The ownership of the castle has changed multiple times throughout history, due to wars between Wales, the Normans, and England. In addition to this fascinating history, the castle has an impressive exterior and one that is reminiscent of the time in which it was built.

Visit Northampton
If Northampton is more your scene, Allens also boasts static caravan sites in Northamptonshire in the form of Overstone Lakes. Our static caravans in Northampton can be found in Sywell, which is also home to Sywell Aviation Museum.
Northamptonshire has a rich aviation heritage, making SAM a must-visit location within the village of Sywell. From World War Two Warcrafts to modern aircrafts, SAM is home to the most impressive aircrafts in the local area. Whether you wish to marvel at the aircrafts or pay your respects to those who lost their lives in the Second World War, SAM is an unforgettable historical experience.

Visit the Cotswolds
Perhaps the Cotswolds is more your bag. If so, our holiday homes in the Cotswolds might be just what you’re looking for. Our Cotswolds holiday park is called Leedons Park, which is situated in the pleasant town of Broadway.
Also in Broadway, you’ll find Broadway Tower, which is a quintessentially English country destination. The tower and park are family-owned within a 200-acre estate of parkland, providing visitors with an exciting insight into great English heritage in an inspiring location. On top of this interesting heritage, the tower provides a breath-taking view of naturally beautiful scenery.

Visit Worcestershire
Last, but by no means least, are our static caravan parks in Worcestershire. You can find holiday homes in Worcestershire in our Abbot’s Salford, Bredon View, and The Springs parks.
Both Abbot’s Salford and Bredon View are situated in Evesham, meaning they’re just a stone’s throw away from Evesham Bell Tower. This 16th Century tower was initially part of the great Evesham Abbey, which was demolished during the 16th Century Dissolution of the Monasteries. Prior to this, Evesham Abbey was one of the largest and richest in Britain. Not only is the building rich in history, but it’s intricately crafted to provide a stunning aesthetic.
The Springs, however, is a little further west in the town of Pershore. As a result, our park isn’t too far from Pershore Abbey, which is the triumphant remnant of a Mediaeval Benedictine Monastery. The Abbey has survived earthquakes, storms, fires, and even the Dissolution of the Monasteries. Therefore, not only is the Abbey a stunning building, but it’s also a testament to the quality of construction from as early as 1130.
