Fascinating Touring Caravan Fact | News | Allens Caravans
Allens Caravans

We know that people are excited to go on holiday, and we have often seen visitors arrive at our Hire and Touring Parks, running across the car park to check in but this World Record Holder is definitely a league ahead of the rest.

Eugene Herbert of South Africa managed to reach speeds of over 139 miles per hour while towing a standard caravan from his Mercedes Benz S600 in October 2003.

We know our holiday parks are really very good but we would highly recommend you don’t get involved in speeding, especially at speeds of over 130 miles per hour!!!
