Though the summer is known as the season of action and adventure, there is plenty to do and explore in winter too.
This blog will spotlight what events are on in Warwickshire this winter, so you know what there is to do and see when you enjoy a luxury caravan holiday at one of our Warwickshire parks.
Claverdon Country Market
Open as of the 8th November, Claverdon Country Market is the place to go for quaint gifts, a selection of treats and nibbles, and handy bits and bobs. This market has a little bit of everything, including a raffle with a collection of wonderful prizes up for grabs.
If you fancy a break on your way round the market, there will be a coffee shop open, where you can grab a quick bite to eat and a warming beverage. It is free to attend and will be open 9.30am-2.30pm.
Story Stomp at Polesworth Library
If you’re looking for something for teeny tots, Story Stomp is a wonderful event to get them involved with fun rhymes and stories. Suitable for little ones aged 2-4, Story Stomp is all about interaction and treating children and grandchildren to an exciting and fun day out. It’s just the thing to cure a case of the winter blues.
This event is free and doesn’t require pre-booking. It is recommended that you arrive early to get the best seat for Story Stomp!
If your little one loves getting messy with paints and other crafts, Arty Tots is the perfect event to help them express themselves through… well art! Like Story Stomp, this event doesn’t require pre-booking and is ideal for those under the age of five; all children must be accompanied by an adult though. In addition to getting arty, children can also meet a professional Falconer and watch owls in action!
This event will be held at St. John’s Museum; it costs £2.50 per little one and will be held on the 27th November.
Trip to the Royal Albert Hall
Should you want to do something memorable with a loved one, you can always take a coach to the Royal Albert Hall and have a tour of its beautiful interior. The tour lasts one hour, but there will be a chance to grab a drink on arrival.
The total cost of the coach and tour is £41.50, and there is an extra fee for the hall’s afternoon matinee. The coach is available on the 22nd November, between 9.00am-5.00pm.
If you enjoy an orchestral concert, why not attend Bedworth Symphony Orchestra Winter Concert this year? Perfect for couples, singletons and older children, the programme consists of a selection of fantastic acts that will keep you thoroughly entertained.
The venue for this event is Holy Trinity Church in Nuneaton, and it will be held on the 22nd November.
These are just five events in Warwickshire this winter. Why not take a break from our holiday home park and attend one during your next visit?
