With just a few days to go until the world-famous BBC good food show, there has never been a more exciting time for food fanatics all across the country to gather and appreciate all things gastronomy.

What is the event about?

The BBC good food show is renowned for its creativity, inspirational features, celebrities and above all, its delicious treats!

Running over the course of 5 days starting from the 27th of November, the BBC good food show invites people from all around the world to taste and witness the preparation of cultural and exquisite dishes made at the hand of our favourite TV chefs as part of a fantastic day out for all the family.

What Can I Expect To See At The Event?

The BBC good food show plays host to a number of fantastic features all designed to cater for each individual’s acquired taste. Compiled below is a brief overview of just a few of the features that you can expect to find at this event:

The World Cheese Awards – The BBC good food show is delighted to host the annual world cheese awards of 2013. For more than 20 years, these awards have been accumulating popular buyers and sellers worldwide and inviting them to partake in an event full of festivity and entertainment. It is currently the largest cheese competition known to man and promises an array of over 80,000 consumers all offering a variety of cheeses from around the world.

This year’s competition will consist of plasma screens located all around the event showing the competition, samples from each and every consumer and tours and tutorials educating you on the process of making and ageing cheese.

The Great British Bake-Off Set – If you’re a huge fan of the Great British Bake-Off (which I’m sure most of us are!) the BBC Good Food Show is offering you the chance to witness your favourite celebrity chef’s piece together extravagant dishes first-hand. This stage will host a fantastic schedule of some of our favourite faces from the popular TV show baking their most successful treats throughout the entire series accompanied by our all-time celebrated chef’s Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood.

Where Can I Stay?

As mentioned before, the show runs over the course of 5 days meaning that you can either attend one day or stay for the entire event. If you haven’t yet booked your tickets, it is advised to look into last-minute caravan holidays or nearby hotels to accompany your stay.
