July Weekend Away Ideas Evesham - Allens Caravans Blog
Allens Caravans

Looking for some weekend away ideas for your caravan holiday in Evesham?

Look no further than the Stratford River Festival on Saturday 6th July. The annual event is excellent fun for visitors of all ages!

You can watch the parade of over one hundred narrow boats from all over the United Kingdom go down the river in all their glory. The river takes centre stage for the weekend’s events – including an illuminated boat parade with fireworks on Saturday night.

If you haven’t got your sea-legs quite yet you may prefer to watch the amazing line-up of bands throughout the weekend. From all sorts of bands, the main stage will also feature belly dancers and live African drummers.

A craft village will also be created at the festival with a selection of craft stalls selling locally produced and hand made goods. Children can also get involved and make their own at some of them.

You can also pop along to the Family Zone or the Escape Community Arts Area where your kids will be entertained with swing boats, climbing walls, free activities and numerous workshops.

Whether it is the food that you’re after then why not have a look at the huge range of delicacies available? There will be numerous cultured food available to try too in the form of Caribbean, Asian and other Global Cuisine along with real ales and ciders.
