We have been welcoming guests to our hire and touring parks for 80 years, during which time countless families have experienced the high-end leisure facilities we have to offer. Our guests are often amazed at the comfortable caravans and state-of-the-art amenities our parks provide, especially given the low price point.

As Allens Caravans demonstrates, extravagance needn’t cost the earth. If you’re thinking about booking a summer getaway in the UK but are unsure on how much are caravan rentals, keep reading.

Park Location

We have nine holiday parks across England and Wales in locations ranging from the rolling countryside to the expansive UK coastline. The location of the park you choose could go some way to determining the price you pay. This is because different parks have different facilities, meaning that some require higher levels of maintenance.

Park Facilities

We pride ourselves on our outstanding park facilities, with each of our parks catering for every member of the family. As mentioned above, some parks have different facilities to others which can mean the price you pay differs depending on location.

All of our holiday parks have swimming pools and Wi-Fi access as standard, with some welcoming pets, offering live entertainment and having a games room or on-site fishing lakes, too. If you’re looking for a countryside break in the heart of England, consider The Springs. It offers guests all the aforementioned facilities, as well as a clubhouse and bar.

A stone's throw from The Springs, you’ll find our ever-popular Abbot’s Salford park. This park includes a football and basketball court, playground, restaurant, café, and a pitch and putt green, in addition to a heated outdoor pool and a clubhouse and bar.

On the Cardigan Bay coastline in Wales is  Sunbeach holiday park. This park has a lot of the same facilities as the parks above, but it has the benefit of a toddler soft play centre.

If it’s beach views you’re looking for, Glan Y Mor in North Wales is nestled right on the seafront. In addition to spectacular coastal views, this park has an indoor pool and a café on site.

Season

Our holiday parks are open for most of the year, closing over the peak of winter – typically in December through to January or February. Due to demand, certain types of the year will be more expensive than others, with holidays in spring and autumn typically being cheaper than at the height of summer.

Caravan Type

The final thing that will influence the cost of renting a caravan is the type of caravan you choose. Here at Allens Caravans, we cater for guests of all types; from couples and small families to groups of friends and larger clans.

Generally speaking, the larger the caravan you rent, the more expensive it will be, but we always try to keep our costs are fair and budget-friendly as possible.

Caravan Rental vs Abroad Holidays

Renting a caravan with Allens Caravans is cheaper than going abroad for a holiday, and you get all the same benefits like high-quality accommodation and stunning locations, without the higher price tag! You don’t need to worry about buying or renewing a passport, nor do you need to pay for fuel to get to and from an airport and the parking charges associated with leaving your vehicle for the duration of your holiday.

When you holiday abroad, you need to pay for your luggage to go into the hold, and if your suitcase is too heavy, you could end up paying a considerable amount more to account for the extra kilograms. On top of this, you need to pay for transfers from the airport to your accommodation, and then the tourist tax when you arrive at your destination. When you holiday with Allens Caravans in a rental caravan, you need not pay for any of this!

Simply pack your bags as full as you’d like and set off to the park of your choice. There are no suitcase weight limits – the only confinement is that of your car boot. In addition, there’s no tourist tax, no parking charges and no need to pay for transfers. You also don’t need to worry about losing money on the exchange rate or renewing your passport.

Our holiday parks have everything you need on-site so you don’t need to worry about travelling out for food or amenities, but if you do, you can rest assured that high-quality shops and leisure facilities are but a stone's throw from the park.
