A lot of people have ‘getting fit’ at the top of their agenda when the New Year rolls over so I’m sure you’re well under way in training. If not, then why not start now and have a holiday in the process too.
People are always looking for new ways to keep fit but it can be a bit tedious doing the same exercises all of the time. So, here’s some ideas that will get keep you active and will be enjoyable too.
• Swimming – We have a number of swimming facilities across our holiday parks, both indoor and outdoor, and are a sure fire way to get your pulse racing. Swimming is known to work a majority of the muscles in the body and it doesn’t matter how quick or fast you do it either, so you can do it at your own pace and leisure and still keep healthy.
• Outdoor Activities – Our parks also have a great deal of activities for people of every age, where everyone can get involved. We have fishing, tennis and putting golf to name but a few will are all a great way to get the whole family having fun and enjoying the outdoors in the process.
• Walks – We are able to offer our visitors opportunities to enjoy a number of different sceneries, whether it is a leisurely stroll or a proper hike. We have meadow and riverside walks as well as the ability to walk up mountains and across the beach. Walking is another exercise that is proven to get your blood pumping and can also involve everyone.
Exercise doesn’t just have to be long runs and trips to the gym. You can enjoy the outdoors, have fun with friends and family and still keep fit and healthy and will great activities and scenic views, our holiday parks make exercise all the more fun.
