Caravan Holiday in Wales: Go Pond Dipping | Allens
Allens Caravans

Save money this year!

If you’re looking to save money during your caravan holiday in Wales then you may want to consider going Pond Dipping at the Bodnant Gardens in Colwyn Bay, Conwy County. The Bodnant Gardens offer some of the most beautiful gardens in the United Kingdom with plants and flowers from as far afield as China, North America, Europe and even Japan.

On the third of September Bodnant Gardens are offering you the chance to come pond dipping between the hours of 2pm and 3pm. The event is taking place as part of the Grow Wild Seven Weeks of Summer Fun programme. The pond dipping will take place at the bottom of the Lily Pond with all of the equipment supplied – all you have to do is turn up and get searching to see what you can find in the water!

This is a day out for the whole family with pond dipping for children along with gardens and plants that will be of huge interest to professional and amateur gardeners alike through the wide selection of dramatic colours throughout the seasons.

The garden is well known for its notable collections of rhododendrons, magnolias, camellias and the truly spectacular laburnum arch. If you are a gardening fan then why not pop down to the Bodnant Gardens during your caravanning holiday in Wales?
