Christmas in Northamptonshire | News | Allens Caravans
Allens Caravans

Christmas is almost here and there’s all manner of festive activities to partake in, both at our parks and in the surrounding areas.

Regardless of whether you’re a new inhabitant of one of our Overstone Solarium homes or merely searching for exciting Christmas days out in Northamptonshire, the seasonal possibilities are endless.

Wreath Making Workshop

From 30 November to 1 December, Buds and Blooms are hosting a wreath making workshop for crafters of all abilities. So, grab your scissors and secateurs and bring them along to Finedon Independent Wesleyan Chapel. Not only will you have the opportunity to fashion your very own wreath, but you’ll be able to nibble on mince pies and sip on mulled wine to get you in the festive spirit.

Winter Light Trail

Get adventurous this Christmas and book a slot on the Delapre Abbey Winter Light Trail between 19 November and 31 December. You’ll be able to wander amongst illuminated trees and sparkling grounds at your own pace to step into the festive season.

'The Night Before Christmas'

The Night Before Christmas at Kelmarsh Hall will take place between 27 November and 28 November. This event involves festive fairy walks, Christmas carols, live bands, food and drink, and unique gift stalls. Not only this, but a lucky few children will be able to pay a visit to Father Christmas himself.

Christmas Fairs

There are three key Christmas fairs in Northamptonshire; the Christmas Fair at Chester House, the Christmas Cracker Fair at Moulton Community Centre, and the Delapre Abbey Christmas Fair. Chester House will be held on 27 – 28 November between 10am and 4pm, the Christmas Cracker Fait will take place on 5 December from 10:30am – 2:30pm, and Delapre Abbey will happen on the 27 and 28 November between 10am and 4pm.
