We've lived at Leedons Park for a few years now, and we’ve never looked back. There’s nothing lovelier than having a pretty, little village on your doorstep to explore and enjoy in your free time. Originally, we lived in a small town and didn’t want to feel overwhelmed upon making the move elsewhere.
Leedons Park was ideal for us when it came to this adjustment as we soon nestled into a small, tight-knit community of like-minded people. Even after spending several years here, we still get that vacation feeling upon waking up each morning. In this time, we’ve only discovered more and more advantages to living here.
The Exciting Amenities
One key element that drew us here was the great amenities that are perfect for kids and adults alike. We have two grandkids who love to pay us a visit during the school holidays, and they can’t get enough of the onsite games room, indoor swimming pool, and tennis court. These are also ideal in keeping us active all year round, as well as the bowling green and countryside scenery that is perfect for long walks. Before moving here, we were guilty of not getting enough exercise, and now we’re the healthiest we’ve ever been.
When we’re not fulfilling our daily activity quota, we spend our time in front of the TV with our cuddly house cat. We were deeply concerned that moving elsewhere may hinder us from bringing the cat with us but, thankfully, Leedons Park accommodates pets, too! On top of this, we’re also lucky enough to have an onsite community hall where we can socialise with other residents, enjoy entertainment, and partake in events.
The Community Nature
As previously mentioned, Leedons Park is within touching distance of a nice little town called Broadway. We often take a little stroll over to browse the independent stores and enjoy a bite to eat at the local eateries. For a more cultural experience, we wander over to the notable Broadway Tower or even the museum and art gallery. Alternatively, we simply roam the village to admire the cosy cottages and stunningly designed period houses. A meander through Broadway takes you back in time, and you feel like a part of an interesting history.
This is a place that we’re always sure to go to when the grandkids come for a visit. They love the children’s activity park, and they’re always keen to learn something new at the museum. The relaxing nature of Broadway is suited to people of all ages, and the serenity can’t be beaten elsewhere.
