The Sunday Mercury set to Announce Competition Winner

  • 14th May 2012
Holding a competition with a prize valued at £98,000 is sure to encourage a number of interested parties to take part. Allen’s Caravans have joined forces with The Sunday Mercury newspaper to offer a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a holiday home in a beautiful countryside setting, for a year, absolutely free!

The publication covering the regions of Birmingham and the Midlands; started the competition on the 15th of April and have recently chosen the 10 finalists, at random, with the winner being selected by the end of this month.

The winner will receive the keys to a holiday home, which they can use exclusively for an entire year. The Willerby Boston Holiday Lodge comfortably sleeps four people and has picturesque views of the countryside and lake. The home has all mod cons and, if it were to be purchased, is worth a staggering £98,000. The winner and their family will also be able to use The Springs Leisure, Fishing and Park facilities as part of the prize.

The runners-up to the grand prize will not walk away empty handed. A week’s holiday is on offer within another of the Allen’s Caravans destinations. This prize is worth £500.

On Sunday 13th May and Monday 14th May, the 10 finalists were selected and have since been invited to attend the winner’s ceremony on Saturday 26th May at The Springs Holiday Park in Pershore where the winner will be announced and the prizes distributed.

“This really is a fantastic prize, and the response has been overwhelming. We felt it a good idea to join forces with The Sunday Mercury to offer readers a great chance to have free holidays for a year. We all know how difficult it can be to get away and for families to afford much needed breaks.” Joe Folkes, Allen’s Caravans
