Leedons Residential Park is one of our premier residential parks, situated in the gateway to the Cotswolds. It is just a short ten-minute walk from the beautiful village of Broadway, located among stunning Cotswolds countryside and overlooked by Broadway Tower.
Choosing to live in one of our Leedons Park residential park homes means that you will get to experience all the benefits of the classic countryside lifestyle without having to compromise on the accessibility offered by the closeness to a town. All the facilities of Broadway will be within easy reach, from shops to banks to cafes, restaurants and the local Post Office, meaning that you won't be left wanting for anything.
Our Leedons Park residents get to enjoy the fantastic range of on-site activities and amenities, all year round. We have recently completed the construction of a brand new, state-of-the-art social complex which residents are already enjoying making use of! The complex includes a large swimming pool, social hall, and plenty of sports facilities.
However, if you want to get out and about and explore the area around your residential park homes, there are also plenty of things to see and do nearby.
The village of Broadway is an excellent place to start. It is a picturesque Cotswolds village with a long history and growing reputation as a holiday destination. Over time, Broadway has shifted focus from being an important transport route to today, where it is seen as a perfect representation of the quintessential English country village. The town is great for art lovers - there are galleries and antique shops galore, plus several museums and the popular Broadway Arts Festival.
Staying close to home, you can also visit Broadway Tower, which looks down across the valley and Leedons Residential Park. This unique folly tower is the second highest point on the Cotswold escarpment, which means that it is also a fantastic viewpoint. On a clear day, you can see as many as sixteen different counties from the Tower!
As Broadway Tower is also on the Cotswold Way, you could combine the two for a great day out walking. The Cotswold Way is a long-distance footpath, running for 102 miles along the Cotswold escarpment. The beauty of the walk is that it can easily be broken up into manageable segments to suit your individual walking capabilities.
Moving a little further afield, Sudeley Castle is the perfect place to visit when the family come to stay. The Castle is one of the Cotswolds' most popular tourist attractions, boasting royal and historical connections stretching back over a thousand years. Visitors can take a look at the Castle's great exhibitions and rare textile collection and take time out to explore the stunning gardens - all 1200 acres of them! Make sure that you don't miss the Queen's Garden or the tomb of Catherine Parr, the last wife of Henry VIII.
Speaking of gardens, another attraction you won't want to miss is the beautiful Batsford Arboretum. Batsford is home to one of the largest private tree collections in the country and has 56 acres of stunning gardens to wander through. Plus, dog owners can visit Batsford too, as the arboretum is dog-friendly!
