Our Northamptonshire residential park, Overstone Solarium, is set within more than 100 acres of historical woodland in the countryside. Those in our residential park homes get to experience all the benefits of traditional country living, while still making use of the nearby towns for those all-important facilities and amenities.
Despite its close proximity to Northampton, the park itself is a peaceful and tranquil retreat offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of urban living. The residential park homes themselves also reflect this little slice of luxury - each park home comes complete with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, as well as double glazing, private parking spaces, and all the other home comforts our residents have come to expect.
For those who prefer to stay close to home, there are a plethora of facilities on site for the benefit of our Overstone residents. There is a lakeside club, perfect for spending a relaxing afternoon chatting with the neighbours. During the summer, we also have a heated outdoor swimming pool for residents to enjoy.
In addition, the local area is perfect for getting out and about and enjoying some woodland or lakeside walks. Pets are welcome at Overstone Solarium, so take the opportunity to explore your surroundings and spend some quality time with your pooch. There is also the chance for superb coarse fishing nearby, so there's really no shortage of things to do!
However, if you are feeling a little more adventurous and want to explore further afield, there are also plenty of great attractions within a stone's throw of your residential park home.
If you fancy getting back to urban living for a day, why not spend some time exploring the nearby town of Northampton? This county town is full of hidden gems for you to discover - from Delapre Park and Delapre Abbey to the Royal & Derngate Theatre to The Holy Sepulchre Church - the oldest building in Northampton.
Prefer the company of the great outdoors? Visit Sywell Country Park, a scenic park near to Overstone Solarium. The park boasts an original Edwardian pump house, an arboretum, visitor centre, and a selection of accessible trails; making it the perfect place to get back to grips with nature.
For a more cultured day out, a trip to Althorp House is a must. The ancestral home of the Spencer family, the Althorp Estate also includes acres of parkland, remodelled formal gardens, and one of Europe's most impressive private collections of artwork, ceramics, and furniture.
There are, of course, plenty more interesting days out to be had in and around the Overstone area, so take the opportunity to explore!
