As bonfire night creeps ever closer, people all around the UK and at Allen's are preparing for the night of their life with sparklers, fireworks and knitted scarves and hats to stay warm in the frosty air. However, if you’re coming to one of our sites for bonfire night this year, you may be wondering where you can go to experience an amazing fireworks display and great atmosphere.
Whilst it won’t be the same as your usual family tradition of visiting the same place every year, it gives you a chance to explore different locations and see firework displays all over the UK. If this sounds appealing, read on.
In this blog post, we have compiled just three locations in the UK that you can visit this year for bonfire night.
Ragley Hall – Warwickshire
If you are looking to be thoroughly entertained with live music, a brilliant fireworks display and a number of fairground rides for the kids and teens alike, pay a visit to Ragley Hall this October. The event is due to be held on the 31st of this month and it is only £5 admission per person – under-fives go free. The gates open at 5pm so be sure to get your space!
Firework Festival – Worcestershire
On the other hand, if you fancy something a little more unique, head down to Worcestershire to see the night brought to life by West Midland Safari & Leisure Park. Not only will this night consist of the traditional fireworks display and bonfire, it also has a collection of events such as a sea lion show and Reptile World, not to forget Creepy Crawlies for the braver ones! The event will also have a hog roast, disco and a bar.
This event runs from the 8th to the 9th of November and the gates and rides open at 2pm. Click here to see our range of beautiful static caravan parks around the UK now!
Hollowell Steam – Northamptonshire
Last but certainly not least we have Hollowell Steam’s Bonfire Night, with a very low admission fee of just £1 per person; wow! This venue plays host to a variety of entertainment including food stalls, a bar and fairground rides, not to forget a lovely fireworks display and impressive bonfire. The bonfire will be lit at 7pm and the fireworks display will be started soon after at 7.30pm.
These are just three bonfire nights that you can visit during your stay at one of our nearby parks.
Of course, if you don't fancy taking a wander off-site, plenty of our parks host onsite bonfire and fireworks nights. These include The Springs, Abbots Salford, Sunbeach, Overstone Lakes and Severnside. So, why not join Allen's Caravans this year in celebrating one of the most exciting dates of 2014!
