Looking for weekend away ideas for your short break in the UK?

Why not consider the Secret Egypt exhibition in Worcestershire? There are tonnes of Allens Caravans holiday parks just a short drive away from the exhibition, so it’s a great local idea for your short break.

At the Secret Egypt Exhibition you can unravel the truth from the myth based on objects found over the last 4000 years, the exhibition will bring together over one hundred objects to be viewed by the visitors. These objects include the mummy and coffin of Namenkhetamum along with temple stones, hieroglyphs of Pharaoh Akhenaten and his gorgeous Queen Nefertiti along with a mummified sparrow hawk that was found inside the coffin.

There are also interactive elements so visitors can get involved, along with family friendly events that will take place throughout the school summer holidays to support this exhibition. The exhibition is at the Art and gallery Museum in Worcester, with free entry for all!

The Secret Egypt exhibition ends on Sunday 31st August so make sure you go along soon, before it’s too late!
