4 Most Expensive Caravans | Blog | Allens Caravans
Allens Caravans

Turns out that even millionaires like to caravan in their spare time, but of course they don’t just pitch up an awning at Mevagissey on a bank holiday.

Check out these caravans and motorhomes used for luxury caravan holidays by the world’s wealthiest:

1. The Anniversary Lodge

This static three-bedroomed caravan sold in 2011 for over half a million pounds, boasting a luxury Italian kitchen and iPhone controlled heating system. With stunning views of the North Welsh seafront, it also has a private deck and staircase down to the beach below, perfect for its owners to use for enjoying short breaks in wales. It also contains a marble-tiled bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, under floor heating and Italian furniture – not bad for a caravan on a chassis with wheels!

2. Airstreams

Famous for their vintage and stylish futuristic exterior, Airstreams are an American classic, with the 2013 Yacht Concept model costing over £130,000. The cult caravan has its own range of Airstream parks, clubs and societies in which owners appreciate its retro look which symbolizes 70 years of quality workmanship and design. Airstreams also are famous for having connections to NASA, and are used today to transport NASA astronauts to the launch pad.

3. eleMMent Palazzo

The most expensive vehicle on the list, you can’t get much luxurious than a motorhome covered in gold. Containing a colossal master bedroom, fireplace and pop up rooftop cocktail bar, the eleMMent Palazo went on sale earlier this year in Dubai and sold for a whopping £2 million. With a plush marble interior and under floor heating, this 40 foot space-age and futuristic motorhome even cleans itself, created for wealthy businessmen to relax and unwind at the weekend.

4. Volkner Mobil

Also known as ‘The Performance’, this German bespoke motorhome comes with the option to take your car with you, having a separate slot to hold your car whilst you’re not using it. It also has a truly luxurious interior with its own kitchen, bathroom and plasma television, forming the equivalent of a 5 star hotel room on the road and with a subsequent price tag of £750,000.

If you’re looking for a caravan or motorhome that won’t burn a hole in your wallet however, contact your local caravan store where you’ll be able to browse through plenty of bargains, including motorhomes, tow-aways and second hand static caravans.
