The Perfect Playlist For Market Town Holidaymakers

The weather is getting warmer and summer is edging nearer. That means it is time to start thinking about how you're going to while away the summer days and what you're going to do in the way of a holiday. You may decide that enjoying the rugged British coastline on a short break at the beach is in order or you may prefer a relaxing caravan holiday in Worcestershire courtesy of www.allenscaravans.co.uk; somewhere you can explore quaint market towns and their rural backdrops.

Whatever holiday you ultimately choose, you will no doubt have lots on your mind during the planning process. Of course, the first thing on the list is deciding when and where you are going; after that you have to work out the logistics of the trip, whether that means scheduling times and booking transport or trying to pack everything everyone needs into the allotted suitcase space. On top of the logistics, practical things like budget, activities and a whole host of other basic plans need to be made; that way, once you finally get on holiday you can actually relax and enjoy it.

With so much going on in terms of pre-holiday planning, it is easy to overlook the fun aspect of it until it happens but half of the fun should be in the planning and anticipation of going on holiday. So try not to get too carried away with the strategizing and practicalities, remember to count down the days with a smile and let yourself be excited about everything you'll be getting up to. You see, when you book a holiday, especially a luxury caravan holiday, you can afford to relax a little because your caravan and the site it is on will have all the necessary fittings, fixtures and facilities - giving you one less thing to worry about. To help you on your way to having pre-holiday fun, we have compiled a quick playlist for those of you heading off to enjoy a caravan holiday in or near some of the UK's most picturesque and fascinating market towns; towns just like Evesham, Worcester and Stratford-upon-Avon in the heart of England.

So without further ado, here's our list of the top five tracks for market town holidaymakers:

Billy Joel Uptown Girl

  • Billy Joel's classic pop tune has been covered many times but the original still packs a punch as an upbeat, fun and sing-along tune.

Thin Lizzy Boys Are Back In Town

  • This rock band is no stranger to hit music and this tune is no exception. Rock beats and an incredible chorus hook make this a song for the whole family to sing along with.

Petula Clark Downtown

  • This 1960s pop hit is a dance floor classic, perfect for grooving along to on a balmy summer day. Plus, the famous "downtown" in the chorus is near impossible not to join in with.

Lipps Inc Funkytown

  • Lipps Inc.'s classic eighties track is a fun infusion of 1980s pop and 1970s disco, with a funky beat and interesting vocals. One to boogie to.
