Today Allens Caravans is a thriving family business which has come a long way since its foundation in the mid 1930’s, and we’re proud of our excellent reputation with our customers and colleagues within the caravan industry.

The Company moved from the Black Country to our present day Headquarters, Wootton Hall, in the late 1950’s. In the early 1960’s the late Bill Allen, the Company’s founder, visited America to look at the caravan industry. He soon realised how prestigious it was to so many Americans to live in residential caravans (Park Homes) and to use leisure caravans (Caravan Holiday Homes) for weekend retreats.

Following this trip he became convinced that the same would happen in this country. From then on caravan sales overtook the Company’s main business of car sales, and with the acquisition of caravan parks the Allens Caravans of today was established.

Since then we have gone from strength to strength developing Parks throughout the country. With the present staff of over one hundred, which is increasing continually, there is a firm professional base, including a work and sales force covering all allied trades. The Company's record speaks for itself as we are one of the country's top Caravan Park operators and dealers supplying caravans from all the leading manufacturers.

The owners of Allens Caravans are not just faceless names but working Directors who can be found at Head Office or on the Parks looking after the running of the Company.
